In a world bombarded by corporate media and art we stand to bring you a new kind of space: Velvet Vapor, the world’s first “offline social media” bar. We are a collective of Artists & Community Builders who are working together to foster safe third spaces for Artists by Artists.
What does a Membership include? Free entry to any event, the opportunity to host a monthly event at no charge, input on Velvet Vapor development & future events, discounted rate for hosting multiple events, and limited free libations for hosts. Not to mention, the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting your Community & uplifting local Artists & Musicians!
Located in the Genesee neighborhood of Rainier Ave South, this dope venue with lounge vibes hosts weekly & monthly events that are open to all. Come down to 4204 Rainier Ave S & talk to John (Golden Master) or Miles (Chief 39) for more details. Just a 15 minute walk south from the Mt. Baker Light rail station.
Monday is Alchemy Union Crucible, Hosted by Golden Master. Every week is a little different but we have live music, art, poetry, of all genres and kinds. Come see what’s happening every week, or check out Golden Master’s Instagram for updates on AU events.
Wednesdays are Comedy night from 6pm – 11pm. Open sign ups, new comedians are encouraged to participate!
Fridays are Open Mic Karaoke, Hosted by Chief 39 aka Miles & Queen Acacia of Peace & Red Velvet.
